81Y0HRfMw7L._SL1500_  While i am not adverse to Erotica, I’ll admit after reading Ian’s The Unwashed Dead this was not what I was expecting when I picked up Woven in Blood.   Now, that being said this was an amazingly written book, and the story build up had be questioning what was going on.  Wanting to know what was going to happen next.  And yelling at the stupidity of some of the characters.

Now the action takes a few chapters to pick up, but once it does, oh my god hang on because its going to be a wild ride.  This book gives you insight into the past and present lives of our hero’s and villains alike.   You find yourself rooting for the bad guy, and the guy and being beyond confused on why you find yourself rooting for both.   Now, most people would find this annoying but not me, I loved all of Ian’s well thought out and perfectly fleshed out characters.

In fact if any of the characters had been missing even a drop of what Ian poured into them I would of probably been severely underwhelmed by this story.   You have the weak stepping up to save the world, and you have the strong falling by the way side.  Those that you thought might survive do not, and this is just the beginning.

In Woven in blood, Ian takes a step away from his Zombie world, to explore the world of Vampires.   While I’ve seen the idea’s Ian presents here, before, it is a fresh take on the universe, and  it takes you on a thrill ride that is a sexy good time.  With just enough spice to keep hard core erotica fans happy,  and more then enough story to keep those seeking a good fun read happy,  Woven in blood is a must read for anyone whose a fan of Vampires.

Born in the 60′s, he managed to survive the decades that followed with minimum trauma. He lives in the north of England, the County of West Yorkshire, and is married with four children, four stepchildren and numerous pets.

He has been a writer for over two decades but has only recently decided to make a name for himself, with several novels and multiple short stories available. Ian writes mainly in the horror genre, but sometimes likes to add a helping of Science fiction and romance.
